Few other professions have such a direct impact on the diversity of habitats and species — and at the same time offer so many opportunities to actively shape them.

Over the course of my work, I have become increasingly aware of this responsibility. By engaging deeply with the habitat needs of various species, as well as the complex processes and interconnections within ecosystems, I strive to live up to this responsibility.

The challenges in my field have changed significantly over time — yet my fascination with the richness of nature and the creative scope that the profession of forestry offers remains as strong as ever.
